PEQUOT LAKES — Sazama Family Chiropractic & Wellness, with offices in Baxter and Pequot Lakes, has acquired Hopkins Health & Wellness Lakes Area, based in Pequot Lakes.

The acquisition allows Sazama Family Chiropractic & Wellness to merge existing clinic offerings in Pequot Lakes and move them to Hopkins Health & Wellness Lakes Area’s existing location at 31108 Government Drive in Pequot Lakes.

“The addition of Hopkins Health & Wellness to the clinic family brings numerous benefits to patients,” Dr. Seth Sazama said in a news release. “This includes expanded hours in our Pequot Lakes market, the addition of an in-house physical therapy department, amazing staff and the clinical expertise of Dr. Michelle Lelwica and JP Wesp, PT.”

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of "Pineandlakes Echo Journal." Often, the "Pineandlakes Echo Journal" byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
