Roggenkamp Tax and Accounting acquires JB Accounting

Tim Roggenkamp, certified public accountant with Roggenkamp Tax and Accounting, LLC announced his company acquired the tax and accounting clients of JB Accounting, of Baxter.

Tim Roggenkamp, certified public accountant with Roggenkamp Tax and Accounting, LLC announced his company acquired the tax and accounting clients of JB Accounting, of Baxter.

Jill Brodmarkle, CPA and owner of JBA, said in a news release: "After a long process and much deliberation, I have decided to transition out of JB Accounting. I have chosen Roggenkamp Tax and Accounting LLC to continue servicing my clients. I have personally known them for many years, and they were my first choice. I am so grateful that they decided to take on this venture."

Roggenkamp has been a practicing CPA for more than 34 years. He was joined in recent years by his wife, Cindy, enrolled agent; son, Jake, an enrolled agent and soon-to-be CPA; and Jake's wife, Amber; as well as other staff members.

Jake will manage the Baxter office and said in the news release: "We thought JB Accounting was a good fit for us as our client profiles are similar. We both have a similar commitment to excellent client service."

The Baxter office will remain in the same location as it has been the past 10 years at 15229 Edgewood Drive.

Tim Roggenkamp practiced for many years as a sole practitioner in Pequot Lakes. In 2016, they added a Crosslake office and changed the name to Roggenkamp Tax and Accounting, LLC. With the addition of the Baxter office and a new office in Aitkin slated to open this fall, Roggenkamp Tax and Accounting will have four offices to serve the accounting and tax needs of lakes area individuals and businesses.
