McGregor hired as Nisswa Chamber president

She will begin job after meet-and-greet Monday, Jan. 20, at chamber office.

The Nisswa Chamber of Commerce board of directors announces Amanda McGregor as the new chamber president.

McGregor comes to the chamber with experience in leadership, client relations, community engagement, marketing and event management with the U.S. Army and civilian businesses. She has earned several awards with the U.S. Army, such as the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal and Honor Graduate of the Army’s Senior Leadership Course.

McGregor will start as president of the Nisswa Chamber of Commerce on Monday, Jan. 20, with a meet-and-greet opportunity for the public from 9 a.m. to noon in the chamber office lobby. Coffee and refreshments will be provided.

She will assume the president’s responsibilities immediately following and will welcome any future visitors to the office. The board of directors transition team will work with McGregor over the next several months as she takes on her new role. During this time, she will meet with chamber members individually to foster a good working relationship.
