Dr. Clint Roberts, owner of Greenhaven Family Dental, recently opened Dreamhaven Dental Sleep Medicine in Baxter.
Both clinics share the same office space located next to Home Depot; however, they are operated as separate entities. Greenhaven is a general dentistry clinic while Dreamhaven treats patients suffering from sleep apnea, excessive snoring, grinding or clenching teeth, through dental appliance therapy.
Roberts and the Dreamhaven team work directly with medical doctors, assessing patients' sleep habits and symptoms, and, when needed, refer them to a sleep center for an overnight sleep study. Once diagnosed with a sleep disorder by a physician, dental appliances are recommended to patients who cannot tolerate the use of CPAP, or Continuous Positive Airway Pressure therapy.
Roberts has trained for five years in dental sleep medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
