About 50 people gathered Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Nisswa City Hall to learn about preliminary plans for improvements to 2.7 miles of County State Aid Highway 13 from Highway 371 (Sportland Corners) to County Road 137. The project isn't scheduled until 2021. Google maps

A 19-year-old Willmar man is in custody following a police chase Friday, Nov. 2, that began in Nisswa and reached speeds of 100 mph during the pursuit. 
The chase started in Nisswa, made its way into Baxter and returned to Nisswa, where the suspect crashed into a tree.
