I visited a friend one day and was asked, "What would you do with baby bok toy?" I gave her a few simple ideas, such as steaming bok choy and serving with butter or making boiled dinner. For a very summery example, there is a "super salad" formula that goes as follows. Four cups greens + 1-2 cups vegetables + 2 cups optional protein + ½ cup optional add-ins + ½ cup salad dressing. Foil pack recipes can be made with just a few ingredients. I've been experimenting with foil packs for quite some time. A few weeks ago I received several recipes in my email that I started trying. The Italian Seasoned Chicken and Veggies takes a bit of prep time but I'd highly advise giving it a try. Illustration

Asparagus is not an ordinary vegetable. You don't plant it in the spring and harvest it in the fall as you do with most vegetables.

This is a vegetable that takes many years of tender caring to get it to fruition. It seems like people either love this vegetable or hate it. There is a lot to love. Illustration

I don't know about anyone else, but for me there are few appetite triggers as powerful as burning charcoal. You could pull a mean prank on me by just burning them without food. The smell turns me into Pavlov's dog. Illustration

Actually, just about any kind of cake could be called a coffee cake; but the term generally refers to a creamy type of cake that has some kind of streusel, raisin or cinnamon topping. And you don't have to eat coffee cake along with a cup of coffee - but it does go quite well with that first cup of java in the morning. Illustration
