Avery Ross, Hanover, was crowned Duchess of Duck for winning the Aug. 11 Pine River Duck Races. She is accompanied by Princess Avery Cunningham (left), Miss Pine River Brianna Adkins and Princess Tara Huston. This year during Cornfest, Chayna Mueller was named Miss Backus, Madison Abraham was named Miss Congeniality, Chawna Mueller was crowned princess. Second princess was Brianna Schmid with Brianna Alderson recognized as junior princess and Anna Van Heerden crowned second junior princess. Little Miss Backus this year is Hailey Rogers with second little miss Ellie Rogers and Little Mr. Tanner Van Heerden. Two little princesses this year were Myra Steffen and Mary Rogers.

Madelaine Westfall from Glenwood, Minnesota was crowned Dutchess of Duck at the July 21 Pine River Duck Race. She was crowned by Pine River Princess Tara Huston, Miss Pine River Brianna Adkins and Princess Avery Cunningham. Races will continue each friday through August 18 with registration at 1:45 p.m.
