They all had the same (incorrect) team picked to win the title and they all had the same dejected, sulking tone in their voice when the topic of basketball came up. It then occurred to me that "March Madness" doesn't refer to the supposed mania or hysteria caused by this meant-to-be-enjoyable event. It refers to the anger every bracketeer feels at some point, usually every year, when their team goes home empty-handed. PineandLakes.com Illustration
