He was born May 27, 1927, in Brainerd to Chester and Bessie Sorg. He married Marlys Wynn on June 4, 1949. Ken loved snowmobiling, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his son, Kenneth Sorg, Jr. (Rhonda) of Pine River; brothers, Joe Sorg and Charley Sorg, both of Washington state; sisters, Ione Sommers of Missouri, Ella Mae Campbell of Kentucky, Doris Wynn of Pine River; grandchildren, Heather Turner and Alyssa Sorg; and great- grandchildren, Eli Turner and Jarred Swenson.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marlys; sisters, Opal Richards and Dorothy Cotton; and brother, Emery Sorg.

Services will be 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Church of the Nazarene, Backus, with Pastor Greg Baker officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
