Global warming scam unmasked

Persons who hacked into the East Anglia University computer system discovered an international conspiracy with regard to global warming. The e-mails uncovered revealed self-indicting communications with American counterparts who, in effect, "cook the books."

The Americans involved were from a number of prestigious schools and were in the forefront of the global warming movement. In the e-mails, they acknowledged things such as hiding evidence counter to their professed findings and deleting messages that would contradict their supposed findings.

All this has come to light as the president is about to head out for the Copenhagen Warming Summit, slavishly intent on catering to his like-minded European left wingers. This has all the appearance of someone setting out to celebrate hanging a killer when it has been discovered that no murder had been committed.

It seems like an apt time to change the lyrics of the Obama-Idol song to "Barack Obama, Ugh! Ugh! Ugh!"

For those true believers who now must feel like the bride jilted at the altar, you were had by a bunch of charlatans, including the scientists and the mainstream media. This certainly vindicates the so-called deniers.

If the hackers are ever identified they should be awarded World Citizens of the Year Awards, but NOT a Nobel Prize. They can save that for the fellow conspirator, Al Gore.

Bob Quirk,

Breezy Point
