A H1N1 vaccination clinic will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30, at Remer School.
The clinic will be conducted by Cass County Health, Human & Veterans Services.
Only the highest risk population will be vaccinated at this clinic. That population includes:
All Children age 2 through age 9 years old who are healthy without contraindications to H1N1 Flu Mist.
Contraindications include children with Aspirin therapy, Chronic pulmonary (including asthma), cardiovascular (except hypertension), renal, hepatic, neurological/neuromuscular, hematological, or metabolic disorders (including diabetes mellitus), and immunosuppression (including immunosuppression caused by medications or by human immunodeficiency virus).
Persons who live with or provide care for infants age less than 6 months (parents, siblings or daycare providers). Must not have contraindications to H1N1 Flu Mist (above) including age 2 years through 49 years old.
Pregnant Women
Children age 4 though 18 years old who have underlying health conditions which make them at higher risk of influenza including:

Vaccines are available at no cost. Anyone under age 18 must have adult present and parental consent signed to be vaccinated. As more H1N1 vaccine becomes available and additional eligibility added, more community clinics will be scheduled so watch for media announcements.
