Pequot Lakes School District residents voted in favor of building a new elementary school in Breezy Point.

Breezy Point police officer Eric Schettler was presented a lifesaving award by Breezy Point mayor Carrie Ruud and police commissioner David Slipy. Schettler was given the award for using a defibrillator to save the life of a Breezy Point resident.
