Drugs, prescriptions stolen from Crosslake Drug
At 10:01 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, an alarm went off at Crosslake Drug Store in Town Square. A window on the east side of the building had been broken.
One or more people entered the drug store through the window and took an undetermined amount of drugs and grabbed a handful of prescriptions, Crosslake Police Chief Bob Hartman said.
"It was a smash and grab operation," Hartman said. "Evidence at the scene has been recovered and the incident remains under investigation."
Officers from Breezy Point and Pequot Lakes also responded to the break-in alarm.
On Friday afternoon, Sept. 26, Whitefish Log Works on County Road 3 reported a pickup had been stolen. Hartman said it was the first vehicle stolen in Crosslake in several months.
