Kids' Fishing Contest
Austin Simon, 11, of Pine River, was the grand champion at the Hackensack Kids' Fishing Contest.
The weekly Tuesday event ran June 8 through Aug. 24 at the City Pier in Hackensack.
A total of 1,169 kids participated this summer catching 2,969 fish.
