Longtime Breezy Point residents Bruce and Dorothy Yund, who both died in the past year, were honored posthumously at the Breezy Point Community Fest on Saturday, Aug. 29. A red splendor apple tree was planted in
Breezy Point Park and a plaque and the tree now honor the Yunds, who worked hard in the community and were instrumental in the inception of the Breezy Point Community Fest five years ago.
