Katheryn "Tanny" Felthous, age 88, of Backus, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, at Heritage House in Pequot Lakes.
She was born April 25, 1922, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Robert and Katheryn Greene. Tanny married Alan Felthous on Nov. 27, 1943, in Cedar Rapids. Tanny was a member of PEO and enjoyed singing with the Sweet Adelines and the Pine River United Methodist Church choir.
Tanny is survived by her daughter, Judy Hobert (Bob), of Penn Valley, California; sons, Tom Felthous, of Fort Worth, Texas, and David Felthous (Cindy), of Backus; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan, and sister, Joann.
Memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Foundation.
Services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, at Grace United Methodist Church, Pequot Lakes. Visitation was one hour prior to the service. Arrangements were with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
