The Backus Area Cornfest Committee would like to thank you for attending this year's Cornfest. The theme was "Colonel Cobber Goes Country."We had a great parade and a good day, despite the rain.
Thank you for your generous donations - monetary and/or game prizes. Save your aluminum cans for our fireworks, the bin is across from City Hall.
Cornfest is always the second Saturday in August.
It takes a year of planning and fund raising to put on this yearly event.
Without more help from othe people and/or organizations, Cornfest may not be able to continue. Please consider being a part of the Cornfest event.
The Backus Area Cornfest Committee meets the third Monday of each month at Backus City Hall at 7 p.m.
