Through-town 371 would destroy feeling of town
My husband and I are dairy farmers from southeast Minnesota. We purchased a resort here just outside of town. We chose this area because we like the beautiful trees, the "small-town USA feeling," the park with all of its great festivals and the peaceful setting.
This will all change for us if a new highway goes through town. It will destroy the very reason we chose to be here. It is not fair to the residents who have made their homes here.
Please, I encourage you to vote yes for the bypass. People will still come to Pequot because it's a great place to be!
