The Brainerd Christian Women's Connection invites women for all ages to a luncheon from 12:15-2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, at Red Roof Inn, Brainerd.
Mike French from Stone House Roastery in Nisswa will explain the different characteristics of coffees and will share tips on coffee roasting.
Judy Blocker and Friends will provide vocal, keyboard and guitar music.
Louise Seliski from the Mid-Minnesota Women's Center will share how this organization helps women and their children as a shelter from abuse. We will also learn how we can help these women.
Those who attend the luncheon are asked to bring an item for the women's center. Needed are women's pajamas in sizes extra large to plus sizes, girls' and boys' pajamas for infants to teens, and disposable diapers for babies to preschoolers.
Free child care is available at a church located near the luncheon.
