Steven Grandt

Grandt will primarily see adult outpatients at Lakeland Psychiatry Clinic and will provide specialty services in electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) at St. Joseph's Medical Center. ECT is performed under general anesthesia and can be used to treat severe depression and other psychiatric or neurological conditions (such as Parkinson's disease or schizophrenia).

Grandt will also provide inpatient services at the Grace unit at St. Joseph's Medical Center.

Grandt completed both his medical education and psychiatric training at the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the Minnesota Psychiatric Society, the American Psychiatric Association and the International Society for Neurostimulation. He has particular interest in treatment of resistant depression and the use of patient-friendly ECT techniques.

Grandt began seeing outpatients at Lakeland Psychiatry Clinic earlier this month.
