All students grades 8-12 in Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Wadena and Todd counties are welcome to exhibit their "spooky art" at the Spooky Art Show.
Bring art to the Five Wings Arts Council Office in Staples by Sept.29. Art will be displayed Oct. 1-31 at The Underground Gallery.
The Five Wings Arts Council will host a display of spooky art by students in the five-county area. Pieces should be hang-able (thumb tacks, tape or nails) and need not be matted or framed. Each piece must be labeled on the front with the student's name, grade level, school, and town. Limit two pieces per student.
Three Best of Show ($50 each) will be chosen by the FWAC board panel and one People's Choice Award (plaque and $50) will be voted by attendees of the artist reception from 5-8 p.m. on Oct. 22. Students, families, friends and guests are invited to attend this reception.
