Reed's Market in Crosslake scene of surprise engagement

Joey Dumond met Maggie Sandberg in the summer of 2005 when both high school students were working at Reed's Market in Crosslake.

Maggie Sandberg accepted Joey Dumond's wedding proposal at Reed's Market in Crosslake, where they met.

Dumond, the son of Andrea Dumond, Crosslake, knew Reed's Market was the perfect place to pop the most important question of his life.

When cashier Mariah Reed rang up the sale of their candy bars she asked if Sandberg wanted to take her ring or put it in the bag.

The surprised bride-to-be said she would take it. The adjoining Lakewood Bank lobby was the waiting room for Dumond's mom, grandma, brother Alex, and Aunt Carol and Sandberg's dad Steve Sandberg. Her mom, Kelly Sandberg, got Maggie to Reed's for the surprise event.
