Gerald D. Smale, 86, of Manhattan Beach, died at his home on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008. Memorial services will be Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 11 a.m. at Crosslake Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Mark Anderson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services, at the church. Private interment will be at Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery near Little Falls.
He is survived by Bonnie, his wife of nearly 65 years; his sons, Gerald, Jr. (Merrily) Smale and Jeffery (Roberta) Smale; 10 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a great-grandson.
Services entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Crosslake.
