Backus: Two men injured in apparent stabbing
Two men were injured in an apparent stabbing Saturday night in downtown Backus.
Cass County SheriffÕs Deputies and Backus Police responded to a call of a fight around 9:45 p.m. in an alley off of Front Street.
Two individuals: Michael Peterson, 17, Backus; and Roland Orth, 18, unknown address; were transported to St. Joseph's Hospital in Brainerd with what appeared to be stab wounds, according to Cass County Sheriff Randy Fisher.
Both victims were treated and released.
No arrests have been made at this point and the matter is under investigation, Fisher said.
