24th annual Art Club Art Show - 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Crosslake Community Center.

Ice Cream Eating Contest - 3 p.m. at Lake Country Crafts and Cones.

Royalty Coronation - 6 p.m. at Moonlite Bay with the Kids Pirate Costume Contest (for ages 12 and under) at 7 p.m. with prizes for first, second and third places. Free hot dogs while they last.

Adult Pirate Party - Adult Pirate Costume Contest at 10 p.m. at Moonlite Bay with prizes for first, second and third places.

Friday, Aug. 8

Softball Tournament "Battle for the Trophy" - 5:45 and 7:30 p.m. at Crosslake Community Park.

Junior Golf Tournament - 8 a.m. at Crosswoods Golf Course featuring nine holes with prizes and trophies. Pre-registration requested.

Seventh annual Classic Car Show - Registration 7 a.m. with show from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Crosslake Fire Hall. Entry fee is $5.

22nd annual Quilt Auction - 10 a.m. quilt viewing and silent auction, noon live auction at Camp Knutson.

Wine Tasting - 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Andy's Restaurant, Liquor Store, Bar.

22nd annual Chili Cook-Off - Noon at participating Crosslake area merchants featuring free samples of chili.

Pig Roast - Noon-6 p.m. at the Crosslake Fire Hall.

Maucieri's Food and Beer Garden - Noon-8 p.m. at Whitefish Lodge & Suites parking lot with pizza by the slice, Italian beef, beer, wine, Italian Ice, and more.

Kids Day at the Park - 1- 4 p.m. at the Army Corps of Engineers Park in Crosslake. Free carnival games, prizes, candy, popcorn and rootbeer floats for the kids while supplies last.

AYCE Seafood Bake - 5-8 p.m. on the beach at Manhattan Beach Lodge & Big Trout Tavern.

Live Music - 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Crosslake Town Square featuring the Miller Papke Duo performing rock, folk and pop music. Free candy treats for the kids.

Loon Coloring Contest Winner - 7 p.m. announced at Crosslake Town Square.

Pirates Ball - 7 p.m. judging for the best Pirate Ship at Manhattan Beach Lodge & Big Trout Tavern. Live entertainment at 9 p.m. Win prizes for best dressed male and female pirates at 10 p.m.
