Pink Ribbon Golf Classic
Winners for the sixth annual Pink Ribbon Golf Classic held June 16 at Grand View Lodge's The Pines Golf Course.
The event is a major fundraiser for the American Cancer Society breast cancer research.
Early bird registration winners: team of Ann Powers, Karen Williams, Jenny Krueth and Judith Anderson.
Pre-tournament contest winners: Pines - Long drive sitting on the bench 150 feet, Pam Jager; long putt/left handed, Jean Freytag. Garden Course - Long drive sitting on the bench 189 feet, Janet Foltz; long putt/left handed, Judy Morgan.
Garden Course winners: The winning teams were flighted. First place (33) - This team came out victorious from a three-way tie. Barb Elmquist, Bonnie Morris, Ann Beaver and Lori Ertman. Third place (41) - Jennifer Ree, Michelle Burris, Joan Baker and Katie Haakonson.
All ties were determined using a scorecard playoff going to the #1 handicap hole and continuing until one team had a lower score.
Proxy winners on the Garden Course - Longest drive, Woog; longest putt, Wiczek.
The Pines winners - First place (66) - Joan Hasskamp, Candace Prigge, Deb Mirau and Deb Enger. Second place (73) - Mary Boeder, Deb O'Brien, Anita Stensby and Sharon Sullivan. Third place (76) -ÊJulie Mohs, Johanna Johnson, Ann Flaws and Trisha Koop.

Crosswoods ladies' league
The Crosswoods ladies' golf league had 36 players Wednesday, June 17. The play of the day was "total putts minus gross score."
The winners were Cathi Nelson, Sue Farrell, Mary Hirman, Sue Mitsch, Bonnie Anderson, Gail Bancroft, Tracy Nelson, Nancy Mienke, Carol Coult and Georgi Ashlin.
Sandy Melberg had a chip-in on hole 17. Those who had birdies were Georgi Ashlin on hole 10, Carol McChesney hole 17, Hirman hole 18 and Mitsch on hole 17.
Crosswoods men's golf league
Crosswoods men's golf league winners from June 18.
First, Front 9 (tie) - Daryl Anderson, Ron Johnson, Dave Oleson and John Swanson; and Don Chilgren, Earl Lidholm, Ken Rosburg and Mike Hull. Third, Front 9 - Jerry Bourassa, Al Stans, Bob Hinkley and Dale Stevens.

Whitefish women's 9-hole golf
The Whitefish women's nine-hole golf league game of the week June 17 was "guess your score - low net wins."
Monica Fetter was in first place, Harriet Smith was second and Lyn Luick was third. The winner of over-all low net was Smith.
Patty Schroeder had low putts and Fetter had a chip-in on hole 5.

Whitefish women's 18-hole golf
Myra Faust and Nancy Einan along with two blind draws won the June 17 team net best ball event during the Whitefish 18-hole women's league.
Shari Loechler, Janice DuBois, Marguerite Baker and Sharon Keister tied Connie Foster, Marlys Guse, Joan Kantos and Sharon Sullivan for second place.
Lois Foy, DuBois, Baker, Keister and Brandt all had a chip-in.

Breezy Point men's golf
Can Park Midway Bank make it two in a row? It will have to if the team wants to win the first half of the men's Twilight league at Breezy Point Resort.
Park Midway defeated Thomas & Associates 7.5-4.5 June 16 to move to within four points of the league leaders. The same two teams will square off again Thursday to determine the first-half winners.

Breezy Point women's golf
Sylvia Schmittt and Kathy Zender shot a 25 to win the two-person best ball event June 18 during the Breezy Point Resort women's league on the Traditional Course.
Barb Owens and Jorie Lindner shot 28 for second and Bonnie Person and Shirley Johnson carded a 29 for third.
There was a three-way tie for fourth place between Judy Thomas-Judi Moravec, Ellen Koshenina-Sue Obeidzinski and Joi Brandt-Doris Moede. Sandy O'Day carded a birdie and Linda Esser and Moravec each had a chip-in Thursday's event will be a four-person scramble guest day on Whitebirch. A meeting and lunch will follow golf.
Emily Greens women's league
Play of the day June 17 for the Wednesday women's league at Emily Greens Golf Course was "low score odd holes."

Dorla Lind and Eileen Springer tied for first June 18 during the Pine River Country Club women's league "change worst hole score to par" event.

Madden's results
The team of Dennis Thuecks-Richard Wickmann shot 34 to win the 2-man modified alternate shot event June 18 during Madden's Resort's men's league. In second was Herm Schley-Doug Agre with a 35.
Mike Pettit was closest to the pin and Michael Petit sank the longest putt. During the June 16 women's night Pam Musielewicz drained the longest putt and Elaine Bercher was the three blind mice winner.
Holes in one
Maud Duggan aced the 45-yard second hole at Lakes Area Golf Pitch N Putt on June 13 with a wedge.
John Larsen, Lake Bertha, aced the 85-yard eighth hole at Lakes Area Golf Pitch N Putt with a wedge.
Patrick Buckley of Nisswa aced the 170-yard fourth hole of the Dutch Course at The Legacy Courses at Cragun's on June 17 using a 6 iron.
