It was a very busy time on the docks in Breezy Point. Kinship Kids were fishing and their partners were busy baiting hooks and helping take fish off the hook.
Aubri Gilbert Olson was pulling in the fish one after another. Her Kinship partner, GiGi Sullivan of Brainerd, was watching the action. Aubri liked catching the perch and crappies, but she wasn't about to touch a single fish.
The youngest and smallest girl did catch a fish. She was so excited she almost fell off the dock.
Members of the Pelican Lakes Conservation Club were busy passing out bait and helping the young anglers. The club gave each child a fishing pole. Some were excellent at casting, some not so great. But it really didn't matter, they all caught fish.
