Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes will hold its annual spring rummage sale from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 8, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, May 9.
The rummage sale is a fundraiser for local and world-wide mission work. A freewill donation is requested for the items offered, which include clothing, household goods, linens, books, sewing materials, toys, small appliances and electronics.
The youth of the church will have a bake sale at the same time to raise money for their activities.
The proceeds from this year's rummage sale will be divided among three mission organizations. The first is Lutheran Social Service in Brainerd, which offers a comprehensive range of person-centered services such as energy assistance for Crow Wing County, Foster Grandparents, Senior Com-panions, Financial Couns-eling, Meals on Wheels, Camp Knutson, and many more.
The second is Immigration and Refugee Service, which works to end commercial sexual exploitation or human trafficking.
The third group is Stand with Africa, a Lutheran World Federation Water Project, which helps to provide wells for clean water in Africa where there are problems with contaminated water.
