The City of Pine River in cooperation with Cass County Environmental Services, will be sponsoring a City Wide Clean-Up Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 20 and 21.
Items to be picked up include:
Furniture-couches, chairs, mattresses, tables
Appliances- White Goods: stoves, washers, dryers, refrigerators
Tires off the rim
General steel- old bicycles, scrap metal
Batteries
Oil filters
Light bulbs-fluorescent tubes only
Tree trimmings- No grass or leaves.
City residents should call City Hall at 587-2440 to get on the pick-up list and the items will be picked up and taken to the transfer station.Ê Please separate (batteries, filters, bulbs) items in boxes or bags so the maintenance crew can dispose of them in a timely manner.Ê
ÊTVs, microwaves and computers - no charge for electronics for Cass County residents only. These will be accepted at the transfer station only. These will not be picked up curbside.
Crow Wing County residents will be charged $15 per unit for electronics.
