Initiative Foundation lists Valspar paint recipients
The Initiative Foundation, in partnership with the Minneapolis-based Valspar Corporation, selected 10 community and nonprofit organizations to receive more than 370 gallons of free paint and coatings.
Those include Crow Wing Composite Squadron Civil Air Patrol, Brainerd, exterior and interior paint for Civil Air Patrol building and cement floor; Northland Arboretum, Brainerd, exterior paint to refurbish the Visitor's Center; Trailside Center, Pequot Lakes, seal for cement on the gymnasium floor.
The "Minnesota Beautiful" program awards were based on community need, public benefit, visual impact and volunteer participation.
