Agate, mineral show scheduled May 3 and 4 in Aitkin
The Cuyuna Rock, Gem and Mineral Society will host the sixth annual Agate & Mineral Show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 3 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at Aitkin High School.
In addition to agates and minerals from around the world, there will be polished specimens, fossils, jewelry and gifts by top vendors from throughout the state.
Displays and demonstrations will be ongoing throughout the day. There will be a Kid's Corner where children may dig for fossils and agates.
A tailgating section will be set up in the parking lot for buying, selling and trading stones. Admission is free.
