The Jenkins City Council on Monday approved a street maintenance mutual aid agreement between Jenkins and Wilson Township to share street maintenance services for County Line Road, also called Dropping Road or 12th Avenue Southwest.
If approved by Wilson Township, the township would grade County Line Road and the city of Jenkins would snowplow the road.
Wilson would handle maintenance and repairs on the middle mile of County Line Road and Jenkins would do the same for the south mile of County Line Road.
Cost of maintenance and repairs on Ultra Flyte Drive will be shared; expenses must be pre-approved by both the township and the city.
The agreement is set for one year.
