Bloom Fool's Auction benefit for Nisswa School set April 4

The Nisswa Elementary School PTO will host its fourth annual auction fundraiser April 4 at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa to benefit education programs at Nisswa School.

The fourth Bloom Fool's Auction will begin at 6 p.m. with food, a silent auction and raffle, and will conclude with a live auction and dancing to the music of The District.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at Nisswa School, Lakewood Bank in Nisswa, or Northern National Bank in Nisswa or Baxter.

"This one-of-a-kind event showcases our vibrant community's commitment to better educational opportunities for our children," said Mollie Kennedy, event co-chair. "Friends, families and community members are all invited."

The benefit originally was started to help offset budget cuts for art education at Nisswa School. The Bloom fundraiser has allowed vital exposure to various curriculum and programming, including artist in residency, French, Spanish, field trips, interactive classroom computer learning systems and more.

For more information, or to donate to this event, contact Mollie Kennedy at 963-9550. Funds raised directly benefit the educational opportunities available to children at Nisswa School.
