Fuel for the Future will be held Thursday, April 2, at the Northland Arboretum in Brainerd.
Speakers from around Minnesota will address such topics as: What is Biomass, Woody Biomass, Current Technologies, Harvesting Biomass, Forest Stewardship, Marketing Opportunities, Carbon Credits and Biomass Availability.
This workshop will be of interest to people who have timber to harvest, forested acres to manage, Certified Forestry Plan writers, foresters and other interested people.
It is being sponsored by the Onanogozee and WesMin RC&D councils, Aitkin and Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation District's Natural Resource Conservation Service, and the University of Minnesota Extension Service.
