This session Sen. Ruud has pushed several proposals that reform the way we deal with sex offenders, ranging from civil commitment to revoking a sex offender's driver's license to limit their opportunities to strike again. These bills would go a long way towards reducing the number of repeat offenders on our streets.

Sen. Ruud's compassion and determination to keep Minnesota families safe is unwavering and makes her an effective leader in the Minnesota Senate. Citizens from her district can be proud to have her as their state senator.
