High School Challenge scheduled June 4 at BIR

Fast Cop Inc.'s fifth annual High School Challenge will be June 4 at Brainerd International Raceway.

Gates will open at 1 p.m., and students ages 16-19 who are enrolled in a Minnesota high school may enter.

Participants must have a valid driver's license and a street legal vehicle to race.

In addition to the High School Challenge, there will be an open street legal class for those not involved in the High School Challenge.

Last year's Crosslake-Ideal Lions High School Challenge brought students from 14 high schools along with hundreds of spectators cheering. More than $4,000 in prizes were given out to the winners in 2007.

Fast Cop Inc. travels throughout the state with its life saving educational program, promoting safe and responsible driving.
