Kati Senst was nominated for Student of the Semester because of her great enthusiasm for school. Kati holds a 3.979 GPA with her favorite subjects being math and science. Her teachers describe her as having a wonderful sense of humor and a person who puts 100 percent effort into everything she does.
Kati is the daughter of Neal and Karen Senst. She enjoys reading, crocheting and playing piano. Kati is a member of the school choir, plays soccer in the fall, and participates in children's choir at church. She hopes to become a teacher or a nurse in the future.
The teachers are what Kati likes best about Pequot Lakes Middle School.
Maddie Bajczyk's teaching team nominated her because she is a very responsible student with a GPA of 3.9. Maddie sets a good example for others, working well in small groups as well as independently. She is respectful to her teachers and other students. Favorite subjects include math, life skills and science.
Her parents are Susan Bajczyk and Michael Bajcyzk. Maddie enjoys dancing, listening to music and hanging out with friends. She has participated in the spelling bee and once-a-year garbage pickup. Being a pediatrician someday is something she would like to do.
According to Maddie, "Everybody is so friendly and helpful at Pequot Lakes Middle School."
Rachel Harris' teachers nominated her because she is a hard-working, responsible and respectful student with a 3.73 GPA.
"Rachel is always willing to help others in labs/group work to bring out the best in everyone's ability. She always does quality work on her assignments, handing them in promptly, and is an excellent writer."
Rachel's parents are Marji and Rex Harris. She participates in band and church activities. Favorite subjects are math and band. Rachel would like to become either a veterinarian or chiropractor in the future.
What does Rachel like best about Pequot Lakes Middle School? She thinks the teachers and students are really nice.
