The Jenkins City Council and Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, March 22, to discuss plans and goals for the city for 2010.
The city council on Monday also discussed taking over street maintenance for Drake Circle after residents of that street asked the city to do so, said city clerk Krista Okerman.
The council tabled a decision until next month, but asked the city attorney to draft a maintenance agreement and agreed to have the city engineer inspect the road to see what would need to be done to bring it up to city street specifications.
In other business, Okerman reported on three grants the city received over the past three years.
A Healthy Community Partnership grant through the Initiative Foundation is complete, and the city requested reimbursement for the final $9,100.
Okerman submitted the final financial report for a wastewater planning grant through USDA and the Initiative Foundation.
And a Twins Community Fund matching grant final report is due June 1. Okerman said all funds have been received.
The council also approved annual liquor licenses.
