Notice of Public Hearing for the Highway 371 North Improvement Project Draft Supplemental Final Environmental Impact Statement

Public hearings are scheduled on Monday, March 29, at the Pequot Lakes High School, 30805 Olson Street, Pequot Lakes and on Tuesday, March 30, at the Pine River City Hall, 200 Front Street North, Pine River. Minnesota Department of Transportation representatives will be present to answer questions at the open house style hearing from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Interested individuals are invited to comment on the draft supplemental final Environmental Impact Statement for proposed improvements to Highway 371 between Crow Wing County Highway 18 in Nisswa to the intersection of Cass County Road 2/42 in Pine River. The document is available for review online, at two public hearings and at several locations throughout the comment period which runs from March 8, through April 16, 2010.

The Draft SFEIS document is available for public review beginning March 8 at the following locations:

  • Mn/DOT District 3 Office, 7694 Industrial Park Road, Baxter

  • Kitchigami Regional Library, 212 Park Avenue, Pine River

  • Pequot Lakes Public Library, 4638 County Road 11, Pequot Lakes

  • Pequot Lakes City Hall, 4638 County Road 11, Pequot Lakes

  • Brainerd Public Library, 416 5th Street South, Brainerd

  • Pine River City Hall, 200 Front Street North, Pine River

  • Nisswa City Hall, PO Box 410, Nisswa

  • Jenkins City Hall, 33861 Cottage Avenue, Jenkins
