Crow Wing County published the delinquent tax list this week. The list includes real estate property on which taxes and penalties became delinquent Jan. 2, 2008.
Interest calculated from Jan. 1, 2008, and county costs must be paid in addition to the total tax and penalties listed for a parcel of property to be removed from the delinquent tax list. Contact the Crow Wing County auditor for total amount due.
Many of the properties with delinquent taxes in the city of Baxter are either commercial property or the property of developers. Jacklitch Entities, LLC has 26 properties on the list. MRA Financial Group, LLC has nine properties on the list. Twelve properties are listed to Craig MacDonald Construction, Inc., with an additional six properties in the name of Craig D. and Nancy J. MacDonald.
Many of the delinquent taxes owed in Breezy Point are in the Whitebirch Camping Cluster or in condominiums. There are 131 tax delinquent properties in Breezy Point.
Crosslake has 66 property owners with delinquent taxes. In Emily, 35 people owe taxes. Eighteen pieces of property have delinquent taxes in Fifty Lakes. Jenkins has 18 properties on the delinquent tax list. Seven properties are listed for Manhattan Beach; Nisswa and Pequot Lakes each have 39 properties on the list.
In Ideal Township, there are eight properties with taxes due of under $100. Five are more than $1,000. Nine Jenkins Township properties are on the list with four owing more than $500.
Lake Edward Township has 34 owners with delinquent taxes, with 10 owing more than $500.
Pelican Township has 13 properties with delinquent taxes. Three properties owe more than $2,000.
