Wannebo, Pratt win ice races on Big Pine Lake

At the Crosslake ice races on Saturday, Jan. 30, Isaac Wannebo of Manhattan Beach won the studded tire class, sweeping all three heats and the feature race.
Mitch Feierabend of Merrifield placed second, and Jerry Peterson of Manhattan Beach placed third.
In the rubber tire class, Taylor Pratt of Merrifield took first, Matt Borden of Merrifield took second and Eli Baca of Crosslake took third.
Racing is conducted on Big Pine Lake just south of Crosslake every Saturday at noon. Spectators can view the races on the lake, gaining access to Big Pine Lake at the public access which is about a quarter mile east of County Road 3 on Big Pine Trail.
There is no admission charge to view the races.
