Cub Scouts from Pack 102 gathered Saturday, Jan. 30, at the Trailside Center in Pequot Lakes for their annual Pinewood Derby.

The Pack 102 Cub Scouts hosted the annual Pinewood Derby on Saturday, Jan. 30, at the Trailside Center in Pequot Lakes.

Grand champion was Hunter Larson, a third-grader in the Bear Den. Isaac Voges, a second-grader in the Wolf Den, placed second; and Kyle Hoffman, fifth-grader in the Webelos II, took third.

Thirty-nine cars were entered and raced in the daylong competition along with leader cars.

Cub Scout leaders are Dawn DeVries-Flinck (Tigers), Rene Millner (Wolf), Tom Ryan (Bears), Ted Ebnet (Webelos I) and Ginger Hoffman (Webelos II).

Tiger race winners - Will Larson, first; Cooper Anderson, second; and Corbin DeVries-Flinck, third.

Wolf race winners - Isaac Voges, first; Zachariah Jorgens, second; and Dalton Ebnet, third.

Bear race winners - Hunter Larson, first; Erik Huseby, second; and Sean Ryan, third.

Webelos I and II race winners - Kyle Hoffman, first; Sam Scheuss, second; and Caleb Olson, third.
