Pet Care Basics classes offered for children ages 6 to 11
"Young at HART" Pet Care Basics for children ages 6 to 11 will have you or your child joining Jan and Fran from the Heartland Animal Rescue Team (HART) to learn the basics of proper pet care.
The class will be held from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, in the cafeteria at Eagle View Elementary School.
Learn pet care safety, responsibility and feeding for dogs and cats. The class will include a lesson, story and craft time. Snack and a coloring book will be provided to each participant.
The registration fee is $10. Call Pequot Lakes Community Education at (218) 568-9200 to sign up.
