Plant Lady to speak at Wild Ones event Feb. 11 at Northland Arboretum
Bonnie the Plant Lady, owner of Sunshine Gardens near Pine River, will speak from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, at the Brainerd Chapter Wild Ones meeting at the Northland Arboretum.
Her topic is "Spring Seeding Special: Native Seed Propagation and Use of Natives in the Landscape."
Hiniker will lead a conversation on what it takes to gather, store, process and germinate native plant seeds in north central Minnesota.
This will be an interactive discussion intended to give people an orientation and an opportunity to learn from each other.
The event is free to the public.
