The seventh annual Crosslake Winterfest, sponsored by Karlsburger Foods, will run Friday and Saturday, Feb. 5 and 6, throughout Crosslake.

Friday, Feb. 5

Medallion Hunt - Starting Friday until found. Clues will be available at Crosslake merchants, all Brainerd Lakes Chamber offices and at www.crosslake.com.

3:30-5:30 p.m. - Cabin Fever at Crosslake Community School featuring arts/crafts, bake walk, food, games, open house and tours.

6-8 p.m. - Kick off at the Crosslake Community Center with a bonfire, pond ice skating, kids snowman building contest, fire trucks for kids to see, s'mores, hot chocolate, horse-drawn hay rides and DJ music by JP.

The warming house will be open with coffee and hot chocolate.

9 p.m.-midnight - Karaoke at Manhattan's.

10 p.m.-2 a.m.Ê- DJ JP at Moonlite Bay.

Saturday, Feb. 6

7:30 a.m.-noon - Firefighters pancake breakfast, Crosslake Lutheran Church, $7 for adults and $5 for children under 10.

10 a.m.-1 p.m. - Ice sculpturing demonstrations, Town Square.

11 a.m.-dusk - Helicopter rides (weather permitting), Moonlite Bay.

11 a.m.-4 p.m. - Human bowling, Manhattan's.

Noon - Annual Soupfest where you sample soups from area businesses, then vote for your favorite. New this year, Winterfest is going green. With a donation of $2, you receive a commemorative soup cup for participation in Soupfest.

Noon - Ice car races on Big Pine Lake at Cedar Chest.

Noon - Bocce Ball tournament registration at Riverside Inn.

Noon-2 p.m. - Kids games inside, Moonlite Bay.

Noon-2 p.m. - Kids snowmobile test track, Maucieri's.

1-4 p.m. - Radar runs, Moonlite Bay.

1 p.m. - Italian Olympics registration at Maucieri's, including meatball relay, sausage toss, spaghetti eating contest and ravioli goal.

2 p.m. - Badminton tournament on the lake and putt putt golf inside at the Wharf.

2-5 p.m. - Ice sculpturing demonstrations, Town Square.

9 p.m.-1 a.m. - Shirts & Skins Band, Manhattan's.

10 p.m.-2 a.m. - DJ JP at Moonlite Bay.

Also, Andy's will sponsor a snowman building contest.
