Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 8:14 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19, on County Road 11 near County Road 109 north of Merrifield, according to the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office.
The drivers of the cars, Joshua David Corbett, 28, New Hampshire, and Brooklyn Kaye Fisher, 17, Merrifield, suffered injuries as a result of the crash and were transported by North Ambulance to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.
Fisher was treated at the hospital and released. Corbett was reported in stable condition at the hospital Monday night.
It appears that icy roads contributed to the crash, according to the sheriff's office.
Assisting the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office at the scene were the Crosslake Police Department, Mission Fire Department, Mission First Responders and North Ambulance.
