Jason Kottke, pictured, and Brett Laugen of Nisswa caught a 70-inch sturgeon on Rainy River on Thursday, April 5. The sturgeon was caught on a circle hook with three nightcrawlers and three fathead minnows. Kottke and Laugen fought the fish for 25 minutes before finally pulling it into the boat. After taking the photo, Kottke and Laugen returned the fish to the river.
