CO Dustie Speldrich (Willow River) received complaints about ATVs operating on state forest snowmobile trails and rutting them up. ATVs are allowed on groomed trails within the state forest only. Grant-in-aid snowmobile trails are off-limits. CO Chelsey Best (Remer) Trail conditions have deteriorated over the last week with the warm weather. It’s worth mentioning that most local trails remain closed to ATVs through at least April 1, and some later depending on spring conditions.
