Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater looks to have taken a big step in his comeback from last August’s horrific knee injury.

The Vikings’ website posted a 39-second video of Bridgewater throwing Tuesday on the first day of organized team activities. The practice was closed to the media, but Wednesday’s session is scheduled to be open.

Bridgewater hadn’t performed with teammates on the field since suffering a torn ACL and dislocated left knee on Aug. 30, 2016, an injury that forced him to miss the entire season. The Vikings have declined to put any timetable on his recovery.

In the video, Bridgewater, wearing a brace on his left knee, is shown up close in slow motion throwing three passes and doing some other drop backs. The camera does not pan to any receivers, and music has been inserted into the video.

The Vikings earlier this month did not pick up the 2018 option on Bridgewater’s contract worth $12.198 million, meaning he could become a free agent after this season.
