Area Girls Basketball: Semmler scores 1,000 point in PRB victory

PINE RIVER—Alyssa Semmler scored her 1,000th career point after totalling 17 points and 10 rebounds in the Pine River Backus Tigers' 67-29 win over the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines Monday.

Gabby Rainwater scored 19 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for the Tigers, who have won seven of their last eight games.

Kennedy Gravelle registered seven points in the Wolverines' third consecutive loss.
